We had an amazing stay at this hostel on Ugarte Street. The owner was super friendly and went out of his way to provide us with helpful information about the area. The breakfast for 10 soles was excellent and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was perfect, just 3 minutes from the Plaza de Armas, and the hostel was very clean. The owner even gave us our room early in the morning. a generous and hospitable host!

I recently stayed at a hotel located in Trujillo for a few nights. The host was incredibly accommodating and even let us check in early. The room with a private bathroom was clean and comfortable, with a working fan. The breakfast, scrambled eggs with red sausage, was delicious. The hotel's location was great, just a short walk from Plaza de Armes, and we found some nice restaurants nearby. The host also gave us great recommendations for affordable dinner options and even walked us to a local spot for authentic Peruvian food.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The price was affordable and the facilities were clean. The beds were comfortable and there were good lockers available. the location of the hotel was very convenient, being just a couple of blocks away from the main square.
The sound isolation in the rooms was not the best, as it was possible to hear other guests quite easily. , the shower didn't provide very hot water, which was a bit disappointing.

As a solo traveler, I stayed at Uguarte Street Hostel for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The owner, Rafael, was incredibly attentive and kind, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The location of the hostel, just a short stroll from Plaza de Armas, made exploring the city and catching local transport extremely convenient. Despite the hostel not meeting European building regulations, the cleanliness and availability of hot water made my stay enjoyable. The bedding was immaculate, and I had the best night's sleep in Peru. Additionally, the well-equipped kitchen and friendly atmosphere made it a great choice for travelers on a budget.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The owner of the hotel was extremely helpful and accommodating. He allowed me to check in early in the morning and even opened the door for me when I arrived late at night. He was always available to assist and even helped me arrange a taxi to the bus terminal. the location of the hotel was perfect, with everything within walking distance. It made it very convenient for exploring the city.
One downside of the hotel was the thin walls between the rooms. This meant that I could hear all the conversations of the guests next to me, which affected my sleep quality.

I recently stayed at a B&B on Ugarte Street and had a great experience. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the center. The room I stayed in was comfortable and had a fan to keep cool. The shared bathrooms were clean and the hot water in the showers was a pleasant surprise. The kitchen was well-stocked and free to use. The host was friendly and accommodating. Despite a few minor drawbacks, like thin walls and street noise, I would highly recommend this place for its affordability and convenience. I had a wonderful stay at the B&B on Ugarte Street.
